Well, 2021, where do you even start…
In February we scambled to fight the South African variant during Operation Eagle. 10,000 tests in 10 days.
We pulled together in Spring The Big b45 Clean up and collected over 1k bags of rubbish.
We worked together to get the A38 bus lane scraped and revealed it’s staggering cost.
We got Hollymoor mentioned during the queens speech debate in parliament and the Fijian Veterans hosted a BBQ for the community.
We celebrated our England football team with flags in our windows and we pushed for a fan zone in the city centre.
We campaigned to save Birmingham wheels and people traveled from far and wide to find their future at the Frankley Skills Show.
At city council we updated the suicide prevention strategy and I finally got to deliver my speech on education reform.
We’ve been out with highways four times and pot holes are finally started to get filled.
We’ve promoted local activity such as dance, yogo, scouts, self defence, tai chi, knitting, football, bingo, crafts, singing and so, so much more.
Thank you to everyone who has made this year what it is, here’s to 2022.
