HIGHWAYS UPDATE: December 2024.

December 2021

Back out with highways (again) and as promised, I’d wear a Christmas hat if they fix the requested roads. Credit where it’s due, Holly Hill road has had loads of work done. I’m very satisfied with this and they’ve even started work on Arden road.
However, Great Park / Park Way is still much to be desired, while they’ve filled large areas outside Morrison’s there’s still patches, including the massive crater by the cinema island.
I’ve been assured they’re down for completion soon and had confirmation that New Inns Lane will be audited in the new year, in particular the island by Cock Hill Lane which is dreadful.
I’d like to thank Stuart for firstly, putting up with me and secondly pushing for this to be done. The Government gives this Council £1m a week to fix pot holes and it’s a shame we have to keep going out like this but our persistence is finally paying off!! I’m back out with him in the new year.
Merry Christmas Everyone. #FrankleyForward
