WATCH: Cllr Morrall Challenge Leader over Jobs & Skills

In February Cllr Simon Morrall challenged the leader of Birmingham City Council on jobs:

“We often hear figures of thousands of jobs being created though economy developments and regeneration. So why is youth unemployment one of the highest among the core cites? As one of the youngest cities in the country; this raises serious questions, as to how many of these opportunities are actually going to Birmingham residents!??”

I challenge the leader of the Council over the huge discrepancy between job creation and youth unemployment. As expected, he tried to shoehorn Brexit into the debate – my supplementary response is well worth a watch!
