Popular Local campaigner Simon Morrall has been pushing the Council to get collections made, restore weekly refuse collections, collect garden waste and to stop landfilling recycling.
We have been gathering signatories on a petition calling on the Labour run Council to refund council tax to residents for all the chaos. If it hits 20,000 we can call for a Full Council debate in the chamber and force the councillors to take responsibility.

High Court Case
The Labour run Birmingham City Council has been summoned to a High Court case over its handling of the bin strike that left some homes with no refuse collections for up to 90 days.
“The decision by Labour to landfill all the recycling since the summer has cost the Council almost half a million in lost revenue. Even now the Council is yet to return reliable weekly refuse collections to Birmingham’s residents, despite having all staff back off strike and emergency contractors.”
Despite the Unite Union suspending the strike, they have already agreed a further three month strike for later in the year, potentially.
We will keep demanding the Council get Frankley and Great Park’s refuse cleared. If your road has been missed then please let us know via emailing us.
