With Your City Councillor Simon Morrall
I recently challenged the Labour-run council over the impact GDPR was having on the transparency of the Audit Committee. Anyone who runs a small business knows how damaging these EU data protection laws are and they are now being used to hide information from the public. Most recently the identity of a senior officer who received a large payout upon leaving the City Council? How are we suppose to scrutinise this, if we are preventing from naming the individual publicly? Madness!
