You know you’re talking sense when a Labour chair tries to interrupt you. Thankfully the cabinet member for Education, Skills, and Culture agreed with everything I said. We need to STOP telling young people that university is the path to the promised land (because it’s simply not true!) and start promoting more realistic (and more fulfilling) modes of attainment within the digital economy of the 21st century. (One of the single biggest reasons I am in politics!).
