During Covid-19 we’ve relied on our digital devices and while the market has enabled 80% of UK adults to own smartphones, there are still those with no access online, making ‘digital inclusion’ a big topic for the future.
Thankfully in Frankley we have NewStarts already leading the way here providing recycled IT equipment to those in need. I name dropped them on the Economy and Skills Overview & Scurrility Committee to encapsulate my point that the City Council should be helping the third sector to help drive this initiative forward and encourage social entrepreneurs city wide. #FrankleyForward
