Hollymoor is a local landmark that has been drastically under utilised for years due to a broken boiler system that the Council has dragged its feet repairing.
Last year I asked staff to request three separate quotations from the private sector, quoting £60,000 – £90,000. Eventually, the Labour Council came back with prices from their ‘preferred suppliers’….
….the price, was absolutely astonishing! And begs the question, how many centres, libraries and services have been closed over the years due to chronic failing in the City Council’s procurement processes? #FrankleyForward
