For years I have repeatedly called for a strategy to promote job and skills to our young and disenfranchised. In January, we finally had a productive discussion about this on committee with the Labour cabinet member saying she would look into it. While I respect that COVID-19 has played a role in delaying this, I do feel during the pending recession that this strategy should now become mission-critical to ensure that Birmingham can BUILD BACK BETTER. #FrankleyForward
