Donated as much as I could to local food banks today, buying (with my own money) essential supplies and shamelessly using my council ID to wave the three-item rule at supermarkets so I can deliver to the old and vulnerable across Frankley (leaving bags at the front door of course).
Credit to New Starts Frankley, Hollymoor Church and St Chads for what they’re doing. I am still on standby should anyone need me, email simon.morrall@birmingham.gov.uk #FrankleyForward
Huge thanks to Greggs Rubery for reaching out today. Your generous donation was delivered to FoodCycle Birmingham Longbridge who are working alongside Homeless Birmingham – CERT UK to deliver to vulnerable people all over Northfield. If you can donate, or you know of anyone who needs help, please email me simon.morrall@birmingham.gov.uk #FrankleyForward
Huge credit to Colmers Farm Primary School today for their generous donation of lunch bags and fresh fruit. It all went to Newstarts Frankley, who continue to do a fantastic job supporting the local community. I’m still on standby to do deliveries. If you can donate or know anyone who requires help, please email me at simon.morrall@birmingham.gov.uk #FrankleyForward
